Ibiza Token integrates Polygon Me
We are delighted to announce that our integration with Polygon Me is now operating. Me is an on-chain solution to manage identities on Polygon Network.
From now Ibiza Token holders are able to mint their own names with the suffix “.ibz “
and see it on OpenSea as a regular ERC-721.
Tokens are stored directly into the blockchain and are rendered as SVGs. Our holders will be able to change the colors and also add their own logo too.
$IBZ Holders are now able to create their own identities with a lower ( near zero) price and use them in a real-life context.
Thanks to this new integration, we will provide users and people in Ibiza not only the option to pay with tokens but also the possibility to identify themselves and access special features both on our mobile app Ibiza Pay and across the physical touchpoints of our local business partners network. This new feature has been developed in collaboration with NFTStudio, a company that since its inception has always believed in Polygon’s potential so that many of its applications have been fully developed on the Polygon infrastructure that, thanks to its scalability and ease of use has made it possible to create infinite use cases in important sectors such as gaming and digital art.
Polygon Me: digital identities on the blockchain are now scalable.
By leveraging Polygon infrastructure, ME is able to create and deliver a ton of identities with almost no fee, which means that digital identities are now scalable and concretely usable in day-by-day life. The PolygonMe solution allows the purchase of NFTs with a certain tldr and to assign some personal data within the metadata, in addition, it’s also a solid basement for any other identity-related dApp as it was made keeping in mind the concepts of modularity and expandability: every developer in Polygon Ecosystem can take the main feature (the identity) and expand it to attach any type of other information.
