We have just released the V2 of our NFT marketplace ( special thanks to Yomi Web3 Company, our infrastructure partner) and to celebrate this milestone, we are happy to introduce Pagesas Random, the second NFT drop of IBZ Collections that follows Podenks, a generative collection dedicated to the Ibiza’s native dog.

Currently, our NFT Marketplace allows minting only the IBZ Collections Pagesas Random and Podenks on Ethereum Network, but we are going to release further updates very soon to enjoy Ibiza-based artists and brand NFT collections and also introduce the new NFT ticketing section.

About Pagesas Random

Pagesas Random is a collection of 2000 randomly generated NFTs living on Ethereum blockchain, created by the Ibiza-based street artist Zsar San and Ibiza Token. The collection is dedicated to the Ibizan peasant woman, an iconic character representing the more authentic image of the island, the one connected to the traditions and rural world.

As it happens with every iconic character, the Pagesa has been depicted and reinterpreted by various artists over the decades and she is still celebrated today as a cornerstone of the island’s history and cultural heritage.

This collection brings “ Sa Pagesa” the famous graffiti character that appears on most of the walls of Ibiza into the digital art world with new elements, colors, and textures created specifically by the artist for this first generative collection.

By minting a Pagesa (0.05 ETH) here you guarantee to receive a completely unique NFT that is ready to serve as a membership card to enjoy island-wide perks, discounts, and promotions within our increasing partner network (Gatzara Ibiza, Occidental Ibiza, Barceló Portinatx, Ibizaloe, Ibiza Botanico Biotecnologico Park and The Potingues collection by Las Dalias).

About Zsar San

Influenced by his love for the hip hop culture, after a brief experience with tags in his childhood, Zsar San started the first graffiti artworks in 2007, thanks to his friendship with Gascu (another resident graffiti artist on the island).
The idea of “Sa pagesa” appeared in 2009, with the aim to integrate and mix the world of graffiti with the typical image of the island. The feedback was very good from the beginning and the character rapidly becomes beloved by the local community and tourists by taking him on continuing drawing smiling Pagesas all over the streets of the island.

About Pagesas Random he says:
